Sweetgrass just dropped the trailer for their movie Solitaire. Check it out!

Crystal Mountain

I had the pleasure of road tripping down to Crystal Mountain, WA with my dad and sister to link up with some members of the Tecnica Blizzard family. Over our three day trip we lucked out with awesome snow conditions and great light. I even got to lay eyes on Mt. Rainier for the first time.

I’ll definitely be heading back next year to continue exploring the steep and easily accessible terrain that Crystal has to offer. Special thanks to my family for being a kick ass ski trip crew and Frank Shine, my TM at TecBlizz for setting up the trip and snappin a few photos along the way! Yeeeah team.

This is me with my dad and sister on top of Crystal

Sunny day in the Cake Hole

Here are some shots from a sunny day on the south side of Whistler Mountain with Bryan Ralph.

Deep Winter

99 Problems

Here’s a quick edit I threw together with some GoPro shots from last weeks storm. It was some of the best snow I’ve ski’d at that elevation in the last few years and definitely one of the deepest days of the year. More flakes are falling now, looks like the tracks will fill in and tomorrow will go off! See you out there!

The Million Dollar Kid; PeeAirOh

Some fresh Point Of View skiing from Pierrot Bernier on Whistler Mountain during the storm thats been nailing us for the last couple of days.

Part one was edited by none other than our friend Cody Haggard, couch bound with a compound tib/fib. Heal up fast buddy, in the meantime let’s see some more edits coming from your side of town.

Thanks for the clips boys.

Revelstoke Samples

Check out Eric Berger’s blog update of our trip to Revelstoke Mountain Resort in January:

Whistler Heliski

The Milk Man Chronicles

We had 18cm of fresh snow last night and a few days of sun on the way! Conditions keep getting better and better!

Here are some of  Eric Berger’s photos from the last week at Golden and Revelstoke:

Revelstoke, oh how I love this place…

Well we’ve settled in quite nicely here at the Nelsen Lodge at the base of the resort here in Revy. Dan’s made his way back home to see the family before he heads overseas. Pierrot’s had a bit of a sore ankle unfortunately and hasn’t been able to ski for the last two days. Berger, Cody Haggard and I have been poking around new zones on the hill shooting photos and waiting for the next storm. It snowed all day on the hill and as I look outside now I can see the flakes a falling. Looks like we’ll be waking to a fresh blanket of snow on the hill tomorrow! I can’t wait!!

Please check back soon for some samples of action shots from our trip so far. Until then, have a gander at these random photos I’ve snapped along the way…

Here’s Pierrot’s way of dealing with some pain in the ankle. Throw a needle in there!!

Highland Lodge, Golden BC

Well it’s warm in Whistler and raining on the mountain so Pierrot Bernier, Dan Treadway, Eric Berger and I mad an exodus. Our first stop was Golden to ski Kicking Horse Mountain Resort. The hill is pretty fun but unfortunately the snowpack is unsafe and just about anything worth skiing is sliding. We spent two nights at the beautiful Highland Lodge before deciding it was time to pack up and drive to Revelstoke to further our pursuit of good snow and sweet photos.

Huckin’ season has begun…

Tossed a big ol lawn dart off Tower 27 on Whistler today. Definitely the most hang time I’ve had since skydiving last summer… Yee haw.

Both Brian Ralph and Sam Mcrae got amazing still shots but unfortunately I can’t share those photos with you just yet.

Steep Creek Overnight

Partyin in the trees

Here are some pics Z snapped while we were skiing in the trees on Blackcomb a couple weeks ago.

Happy Holidays POV

Here’s a new edit I threw together with some random clips I’ve been collecting over the last few weeks from skiing at Whistler, Blackcomb and the Duffy Lake area.

Happy Holidays Everyone!!!

Blackcomb Trees

The snow is soft and wind packed here in Whistler which makes for some fun fast laps but we’re definitely in need of another storm system to roll through and paint the mountainside white. I have a feeling it’s on the way…

Jay Robertson and I got out to Steep Creek off the Duffy Lake on Saturday and had a great day tour to a ridge East of James Bond Basin. It was an awesome climb up and a glorious pow filled descent down. Check back for the video soon.

Zoya and I were lucky enough to catch some fresh patches in the trees off Crystal Chair yesterday, here a couple shots from Sam M.
